Hello, oi!

I’m Lyria and I own a small but mighty photography studio in Marlborough. My goal is give you an experience that will go beyond pretty pictures.

After photographing over 250 women I’m confident in saying, there’s nothing wrong with you. You are beautiful just the way you are and you have so much to offer. Sounds cliche?

Hear me out: society has influenced us to follow one beauty idea: their idea. So, trust me when I say that every woman is unique in her beauty.

Maybe it’s your hair, lips, wide eyes, your jaw line, neck, back or legs, your hands and long fingers, smile, attitude, confidence, brains, self-reliance, your adventurous spirit, or that go-getter mode that is always turned on. Life is a journey. Let’s practice self-love and self-awareness; let’s turn our focus from the negative to let the positive shine through.

Why me? 

I have a degree in Communication Arts with the concentration in film production. My education in film shaped the way I bring my art to life. I will be using light to shape, colors to enhance, and poses to define. We are going to create memorable photos. 

While I treasure the photoshoots at international locations such as Dubai, South Africa, Iceland, and remember fondly the domestic destinations where I photographed local clients before the pandemic, I now focus on two genres; boudoir and headshots. So if it’s time for a new headshot or you want to dip your toes in the self-love pond, take a look at my style.
